The Unseen, Assignment #2

The Unseen

The "unseen" can be everyday things we glance, but don't really look, at  - or they can be everyday happenings we don't even care to notice.

Detail on the base of a lamppost in front of  the Library of Congress
Area behind the shed in my friend's backyard
Eagle symbol found all throughout Washington, D.C. on urban elements, such as lampposts
Running water from the empty fountain in front of the National Portrait Gallery. If you look at the right time or in the right place, you can catch sight of a still-running faucet or the streaming of water from the roofs of buildings.
A homeless camp in front of the National Portrait Gallery: We notice the homeless, but we don't really "see" them - perhaps out of apathy or ignorance.
